Disconnects/Remakes/Pauses

  • Once the game starts and the majority of the players are disconnected (4 out of 6 minimum), the game will be remade
  • After the game officially starts, if a player disconnects or when an issue or problem arises, the game will continue.
  • In the event of extreme technical difficulty, the Tournament admin may instead award a game victory to a team. If a game has been played for more than two (2) on the game clock (00:02:00), the Tournament admin, at their sole discretion, may determine that a team cannot avoid defeat to a degree of reasonable certainty. The following criteria may be used in the determination of reasonable certainty:
    • In the situation where the difference in points is only 1 (1) point, the game will be remade.
  • Teams that voluntarily disconnect in order to apply this rule shall suffer a loss for that game.
  • Players, in general, may not request for a pause in the game unless certain extenuating circumstances force them to do so, Requisition for a pause without just cause will merit heavy penalties to the offending team. Listed below are a few reasons, but not limited to, when a player can validly pause a game:
    • Unintentional Disconnections.
    • Verifiable game-breaking bug or glitch.
    • Hardware, software, and peripheral malfunctions.
    • Anomalous external disruptions of any kind, akin to disturbances beyond the scope of the game, its hardware, software, and peripherals.
